I leave in a week

and i couldn't be more excited! one week from today, i will be in dc at my gateway oreintation. it scares me a little bit that its coming up so fast! it really has a way of sneaking up on you and yanking the rug out from under your feet. its kind of exhilarating in an weird way. i've had a little contact with my host family too, which makes me even more excited. i have 2 sisters, one is named diandra and she's almost 14, and one is named dieva, and she's 10. i am so excited to meet them! i'm suddenly feeling all the stress of everything i need to get done before i leave, and its pretty overwhelming. oh well. its really a small price to pay to be getting so much more in return. i'm incredibly excited and nervous to go. i can't wait.
